### Privacy Policy — Base Camp Inc. Social Media Automation Tool

Base Camp Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”), located in Yokohama, Japan, operates an internal software tool (“the Tool”) that automatically publishes video content created by Base Camp Inc. to social media accounts that Base Camp Inc. owns and manages (currently: the TikTok account @thelastnagi and a linked Instagram Business account).
This Privacy Policy explains what data the Tool accesses, how it is used, and how it is protected.
**1. Who this applies to**
The Tool is used exclusively by Base Camp Inc. to publish content to its own, company-owned social media accounts. The Tool is not distributed to, or used by, any third party, and no end-user data from TikTok or Instagram users (other than our own account) is collected, processed, or stored.
**2. Data we access**
– OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens issued by TikTok and Meta (Instagram Graph API) for our own company-owned accounts, used solely to authorize the Tool to publish video content on our behalf.
– Basic account metadata necessary for publishing (e.g., account username/ID, post status) as provided by the TikTok Content Posting API and Instagram Graph API.
– Video files and captions that Base Camp Inc. itself has produced, which are uploaded via the Tool for publishing.
We do not access, collect, or store any personal data belonging to third parties (e.g., followers, commenters, or other creators).
**3. How we use this data**
– Solely to authenticate with TikTok/Meta APIs and publish company-produced video content to our own accounts.
– We do not use this data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to publishing our own content.
**4. Data sharing**
We do not sell, rent, or share any data described above with any third party. OAuth tokens are stored securely and used only by the Tool described in this policy, running on infrastructure controlled by Base Camp Inc.
**5. Data retention and security**
OAuth tokens are retained only as long as necessary to operate the Tool and are stored using industry-standard security practices. Tokens can be revoked at any time via the TikTok / Meta account settings, which immediately terminates the Tool’s access.
**6. Your rights**
As this Tool operates only on accounts owned by Base Camp Inc., there are no third-party data subjects. Base Camp Inc., as the account owner, may request deletion or revocation of stored tokens at any time by contacting us at the email below.
**7. Changes to this policy**
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
